Initially upon meeting you, I knew I had met a friend who would guide me in the best way she could, for my new small business. This was a large investment for me and it frankly scared me to spend the money needed for the ad I wanted. But I was already familiar with your magazine and its great reputation, and I felt it would be an error in judgment NOT to advertise with you. Your folks made it easy to review my ad, and it was great to have the opportunity to extend my love of writing to an article as well. I realized that this was an annual publishing only, but it has along shelf life. EVERYWHERE I go where there is an animal/pet-related business, there is a rack of these informative magazines. And for people who have not heard of the magazine and have pets, I am sure to give them an ample supply (for each of their cars, home, business... it's THAT handy to have!). I tell them it will become a bible of sorts for them!! I keep close track of where my business comes from Mary... I have to! With the limited advertising budget I've had, I have to know where best to advertise. I'm writing this because I want you all to know that this past year, half of the leads I've received came from Pet Pages. And of those leads, I've been able to book a good portion of that as new customers. That's why you're dealing with me again for the next edition!. As with any business owner, it's a long term dream to have a solid book of business where little advertising is necessary ... word of mouth will be the goal.
